Dr Bronwyn Gillanders
University of Adelaide
Bronwyn’s research interests span freshwater, estuarine and marine systems and are focused primarily on ecology of fish and invertebrates. Her research focuses on collaborative research projects investigating stocking of native freshwater fish in the Murray Darling Basin including using novel methods to discriminate between wild and hatchery-reared fish. She is also investigating stock structure and movements of giant Australian cuttlefish in South Australia so that this unique ecotourism resource can be managed sustainably. Dr Gillanders also has collaborative research projects on biodiversity of fish and invertebrates across southern Australia (NSW,SA and WA).
