NSW Awards Ceremony
Thirteen young scientists were honoured at the prestigious 2015 Young Tall Poppy Science Awards for NSW on Wednesday evening, October 21, at The Powerhouse Museum. Dr Dane McCamey was named as the NSW Young Tall Poppy of the Year.
These winners showcase the diversity of research being carried out in NSW. From creating new ways of computing to developing better medical diagnostic techniques, the scale of which ranges from the nano-scale to the size of the Murray-Darling Basin.
The NSW Young Tall Poppy Awards are supported by the University of NSW, the University of Newcastle, the University of Sydney, Macquarie University and the University of Western Sydney.
