The 2008 Post-Budget Health Briefing and Breakfast will be held on Thursday 15 May at 7.45am in the Mural Hall, Parliament House, Canberra.
Shortly after the 2008 Federal Budget Budget is announced, the Hon. Nicola Roxon MP, Minister for Health and Ageing will join the AIPS to outline the new policy directions and initiatives for health in Australia. Presented to a select audience in Canberra this breakfast event provides essential insights into the new Government's policy and budget commitments to the health sector for 2008.
The Post Budget Health Briefing is an annual event held by AIPS since 1997. In 2007, 150 people attended the Post Budget Health Briefing in Sydney. The breakfast also provides a networking opportunity among professionals from across the health and medical sector.
