Science teachers gather in Darwin

CONASTA60 is on in Darwin this July. CONASTA is the annual Conference of the Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA) and brings together science teachers across Australia to learn the latest and share their experiences and expertise with government, industry and academic sectors.

AIPS is sponsoring through providing a guest speaker and Queensland Tall Poppy 2009 Dr Clinton Fookes, who was also the 2010 Eureka People’s Choice Winner.

Another Tall Poppy, Associate Professor Paul Francis from Victoria is also a keynote speaker on the Wednesday.

We have many challenges to face as science educators over the coming years and look forward to joining you at the conference and throughout the following year.

AIPS are amongst sponsors of the event and partner with ASTA nationally.
