Welcome to our new website! Many pages are still under construction, but you will find most of the information you need here. The rest will arrive in late January 2009...
The Australian Institute of Policy & Science (AIPS) aims to promote understanding of the important political, economic, social, cultural and scientific issues facing Australia. We are independent, non-partisan and not-for-profit. Our major activities currently include: • The Tall Poppy Campaign which promotes recognition of Australia's outstanding scientists and encourages younger generations to undertake further studies and careers in the sciences. • AQ - Australian Quarterly a long runing public affairs magazine which publishes articles that analyse political, economic, social, cultural and scientific issue vital for Australia. • Public forums for discussion and debate over contemporary public policy issues, including lectures, seminars and briefings. |
