Rediscovering Science
Rediscovering Science is an exciting initiative that brings students into contact with practising NSW scientists, particularly the emerging new leadership of scientific researchers who have a commitment to communicating their work to the broader community.
The videoconferences and resources provided online expose students to contemporary issues in science and allow them to develop a knowledge and understanding of the nature and practice of science, applications and uses of science, implications of science for society and the environment, and current issues, research and development.
This initiative is implemented by the NSW Department of Education in partnership with the Australian Institute of Policy and Science’s Tall Poppy Campaign in NSW but is available as a national resource.
