Louisa is the South Australian outreach officer for the Tall Poppy campaign.

Louisa is a scientist with a wide interest in science, policy, and the environment. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science (QUT), and a PhD in organic chemistry (QUT). Her research has spanned from making  molecular wires to repurposing waste products for use in environmental cleanup. She has a passion for promoting the value and importance of science to the wider community, and engaging with the next generation of Australians to share the excitement of science and learning new things.

Louisa also loves travelling, reading, and photography in her spare time.
