Science Heroes activity sheets
These activity sheets contain easy-to-understand information and fun activities on a range of scientific concepts including medicines, ecosystems, aeroplanes, mining, basic physics, fossils and more. They also contain information about Australian scientists who have contributed important work in each of these fields. They are designed for primary school teachers and students (years 4,5&6).
The activities are written to allow students to carry out independent or group investigations. It is important that students learn that scientists often work collaboratively – not only with colleagues from the same scientific institution, but also with other scientists who share the same interest and curiosity from all over the world.

These activity sheets were originally developed as part of Tall Poppies in Flight; a national science education project for primary school children.
