Objectives of the Seminar

Promote Maths and Engineering to high achieving Year 9-10 students

Increase Science engagement of students from Northern SA schools

Showcase possible career pathways available by pursuing Maths and Engineering as a career.

Reveal to students the interdisciplinary role of Maths

Relate to students the relevance of Maths and Engineering to human life and the possible impact it may have on society.

Presentations by our Tall Poppies Dr Tamath Rainsford and Dr Mark McDonnell highlighted their individual career pathways, their passion for studying Maths and pursuing their respective careers in Engineering.
