
2009 Young Tall Poppy Science Award nominations
The prestigious Young Tall Poppy Science Awards 2009 were available for nominations till early August 2009. Check out the closing dates and guidelines. Nominations for NSW/ACT, Queensland, SA and Victoria/Tasmania have now closed.
The annual Young Tall Poppy Science Awards are unique in seeking leadership and potential in both research excellence and the ability and commitment to engage with, and communicate to the broader public. These Awards aim to celebrate excellence while fostering the next generation of great discoverers and engaged community members.
If you did not nominate in 2009, we encourage you to do so in 2010 with a focus on bright young researchers with community leadership in science promotion potential, and we invite you to attend our Awards in relevant states and territories. .
